Merlin Entertainment (the company the operates the museums) is reportedly spending an amount of $1.5 million on the 10 waxworks of GaGa.

No rep for Madame Tussauds museums or Merlin Entertainment confirmed or unconfirmed the news.

At the moment I’m writing this (8:30 P.M. New York), Lady GaGa has 5,674,224 followers. Around 4,000 more than Britney Spears.

Lady GaGa was seen posing with Apple employees outside the Apple headquarters in Cupertino, California today (August 17). The visit of the singer to the “mothership” has revived the rumors she’s signing a marketing deal with the company.

Back in May, Examiner.com reported Lady GaGa had signed a sponsorship agreement with Apple to appear on the then unreleased iPhone 4, what didn’t happen. Rumors now say GaGa might be one of the faces for the commercials and promos of the new iPod nano.

Lady GaGa’s remix EP “The Remix” debuts inside the Top 10 of The US Billboard 200 albums chart at the #6 position selling 39,391 copies on the first week.

On another note, Lady GaGa’s albums will totalize more than 5 million copies sold in the U.S.A. by next week or the other, to the date she has sold 4,945,959 albums in America.

In a bad side, The Cherrytree Sessions EP that was also released during “The Remix” release week did not chart in the 200.
