‘The Fame‘ is the debut album by electro-pop singer Lady GaGa.The album was first released 19 August 2008 in Canada and 29 August 2008 in Europe, The U.S. release was later on 28 October 2008.The album debuted at #17 on The U.S. Billboard Hot 200 Albums and peaked at #4 early March 2009.The peak of the album on The United World Chart is #3 and the same number on The Billboard European Hot 100 Albums.The album topped The Billboard Electronic Albums.The lead-single ‘Just Dance‘ achieved worldwide success peaking at #1 in more than 13 countries including The U.S. Billboard Hot 100 Songs and on The United World Chart.The second single ‘Poker Face‘ also enjoyed a massive worldwide successs.The album received mild critics such as 3 stars out of 5 from All Music Guide.
