Lady Gaga topped the list last year. Between female popstars, Lady Gaga is the fourth if only money is counted, after Britney Spears ($58 million), Taylor Swift ($57 million) and Rihanna ($53 million).

The list this year is topped by Jennifer Lopez, followed by Oprah Winfrey and Justin Bieber.

Lady GaGa will talk about some of her iconic and famous outfits and how they relate to her music, fans and herself, while some of her outfits also represent some other message the singer tries to carry with her.

Las Vegas is set to receive multiple household artists for two days in September (23-24) for the iHeartRadio Festival. Pop singer Lady GaGa is among the popular artists performing at the festival.

Clear Channel, the company that owns the biggest radio stations in the country and is organizing the festival, has deemed it as “the biggest live music event in radio history.”

The event will have performances by some of the biggest artists in the music industry today: Lady GaGa, Coldplay, Black Eyed Peas, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Lopez, Steve Tyler, Kelly Clarkson, Nicki Minaj, David Guetta, Alicia Keys, Sting, Usher and others.

Oprah was the #1 of the list for the past two years and slides to #2 on the 2011 edition.

But if Oprah banked $200 million more than Lady GaGa, how exactly GaGa managed to land atop the list? The answer is simple: The Forbes Powerful Celebrity 100 has a complex formula which uses not only money earned but social media, press (tv/radio), advertisements, and many other platforms to measure the influence of a celebrity.

Lady GaGa joins another powerhouse popstar as the only female musicians to have topped this list: Britney Spears, who did it in 2002.

The animals-rights organization is going to feature the 3 popstars in their new campaign: “Fur-Free and Fabulous”. PETA wrote some notes on Lady GaGa on the press release they launched today: , “Her anti-fur stance … has been unwavering. Gaga’s out-there outfits never include real fur,” the statement continued. “Last year, when she wore a dress made of fluffy Kermit the Frog dolls, [she] explained, ‘I thought it was commentary on not wearing fur, ’cause I hate fur and don’t wear fur.’ ”

The billboard will be first raised on the corner of Sunset Boulevard and La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles.

GaGa is going to be the musical director of the show that is into the circle of Paris’ Mens Fashion Week which runs through January 23rd. Lady GaGa said via her Twitter she will play a song off of her upcoming record “Born This Way” in a special version for the show.

The fashion show is scheduled to start at 5 P.M. (GMT) on January 19th 2011.

MAC Cosmetics resigns Lady GaGa to be the face of Viva Glam for a second year in a row.

The company released the first promotional photo for the 2011 campaign shot by Nick Knight (photo above).

The yet-to-be-named fragrance is scheduled for a spring 2012 release and will be distributed worldwide. GaGa and her “Haus of GaGa” team were signed as Creative Directors to collaborate in the fragrance creation.

“The marketing behind Lady Gaga’s fragrance will be unprecedented and groundbreaking,” said Steve Mormoris, Sr. V.P. of Global Marketing for Coty Beauty. “We are working toward distilling the brilliance of Lady Gaga into a fragrance that delivers a breathtaking olfactory experience and a timeless, enduring packaging design that is part of Lady Gaga’s overall artistic sensibility,” said Mormoris.

More details on the partnership and the fragrance (which hasn’t started being developed yet) will be revealed as the release date approaches.

My opinion: Us fans are not scared at all, who cares if you want to challange our mother monster we are just sick of everyone picking on the poor girl. Stop focusing on negative and worry about your own career. Your obviously just trying for media attention. And shame on you Sunrise since you “accused” Gaga of lipsyncing and Gaga made a mockery out of you, you always seem to try put her down. Just pathetic.x

Lady GaGa released an statement regarding the voting process to repeal DADT law that took place yesterday and failed:

Today was an enormous disappointment, for myself, and for many young American people. Not only because ‘Don’t Ask Don’t Tell’ was not repealed by our Senators, but moreover because legislative procedure is being abused to stop public business, public debates, from happening while America is watching. There was a debate today, we just didn’t get to watch it. Instead, it has been customary now for antiquated procedures and partisan politics to take precedence over debate, America’s needs, and today, sadly, over the needs of U.S. troops. I will keep fighting, I will not give up. I am passionate about the rights of the LGBT Community and SLDN and I will continue to activate as many young people as I can, and encourage them to get politically involved in their future.
