Lady GaGa had a great night at The 30th British Phonographic Industry Awards (BRIT Awards), She walked out with the 3 awards she was nominated for: International Album (”The Fame”), International Female Solo and International Breakthrough Act.
Lady GaGa attended The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards yesterday (January 31) in Los Angeles. She performed a medley of “Poker Face” and “Speechless” with Elton John. Lady GaGa won two out of the five awards she was nominated to, she won Best Dance Recording for “Poker Face” and Best Dance/Electronic Album for “The Fame”. The leading winners of the night were Beyoncé (with 6 awards including “Song Of The Year” for “Single Ladies”) and Taylor Swift (with 4 awards including “Album Of The Year” for “Fearless”).

Blogger (and Lady GaGa’s friend) Perez Hilton announced via his website that Lady GaGa will be the opening act of the 2010 Grammy Awards to be held next Sunday (January 31) in Los Angeles.
Perez states that GaGa is planning something “amazing”, that we wouldn’t want to miss… We wouldn’t miss her anyway, Would we?
EDIT: Theres been rumours that she maybe doing a duet with Sir Elton John!!!!

Lady GaGa is among the nominees for The 21st Annual Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation’s annual media awards according to Reuters UK.
The organization named 116 nominees for outstanding coverage of gay issues in categories in film, television, documentary, music, theater, comic books and journalism. The awards will be held in three different dates beggining March 13 in New York City.
Lady GaGa was nominated in the music artist category and is up against Adam Lambert, indie band Gossip and singer Brandi Carlie.
The organization’s President Jarrett Barrios said the awards were designed to reward news coverage and entertainment programing that go beyond gay stereotypes.
Lady GaGa won in both categories she was nominated to at The 2010 People’s Choice Awards that was held yesterday in Los Angeles. She won Favorite Breakout Star and Favorite Pop Artist. Congratulations to us (the fans for voting) and to Gaga!
