Lady GaGa has canceled her two shows in Paris due to nationwide protests in France over a bill to raise retirement age, reports The Associated Press.

GaGa was going to perform at The Bercy in Paris on Friday and Saturday (October 22 and 23).

The concerts were canceled as the protests could be a potential threat to the singer’s security and also due to gas stations being closed out during the strike.
