Lady Gaga was the main winner of the ECHO German music awards, held in front of an audience of 4,000 in Berlin.
Lady Gaga – who did not attend – got the awards for:
- Female artist international rock/pop
- Best newcomer of the year international
- Hit of the year national/international

“Telephone” rises #5-#3 on The U.S. Billboard Pop Songs chart, scoring Lady GaGa her 6th Top 3 on the chart that rank songs based on spins received from radio stations that fit the pop genre format according to Nielsen BDS tracking system, which is similar to Mediabase Top 40.
Lady GaGa just becomes the third artist in the history of the Billboard pop chart to have 2 entries in the Top 3 of the chart simultaneously, as she joins two other singers who managed to do the same, Ashanti in 2002 with “Foolish” and “What’s Luv?” and Mariah Carey in 1995 with “One Sweet Day” and “Fantasy” curiously all the three had featuring songs as they did the feat, Ashanti feat. Fat Joe for “What’s Luv?” and Mariah with Boyz II Men for “One Sweet Day”.
“Telephone” with Beyoncé comes in at #3 with “Bad Romance” right above it at #2. If the song manages to rise to #1, It will be Lady GaGa’s 6th single in a row to top the chart, tying Mariah Carey for the most #1s on the Pop chart in it’s history, not only her, Beyoncé will also be tied, since she also have 5 #1s on the chart. Other artists also with 5 include Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and Avril Lavigne.

- Lady Gaga magazine cover banned
A revealing photo of Lady Gaga which currently graces the cover of Q magazine has been banned by a number of U.S. stores.
QTheMusic.com reports, that several leading U.S. retailers have vetoed the magazine, which features the controversial, pop singer posing topless on the cover.

Lady Gaga is planning to wear a fake penis on stage.
The ‘Bad Romance’ singer – who has been dogged by speculation she has had a sex change or has both sets of genitals – can understand where rumours she is a hermaphrodite have come from and plans to make fun of them in an “artistic” way.
The 23-year-old star said: “I want to wear a d**k strapped to my vagina. We all know that one of the biggest talking points of the year was that I have a d**k, so why not give them what they want?

The “Telephone” video is coming! The “Telephone” video is coming!
Lady Gaga took to her Twitter to let her little monsters know that the much-anticipated “Telephone” video is on its way. Although no date was announced, she did say that the video, shot last month in California and directed by Jonas Åkerlund, is currently being edited.
“Telephone is coming I promise! Still editing. I want it to be perfect,” she tweeted. “The Haus has dubbed her a ‘masterpiece.’ ”

The Bad Romance hitmaker had reportedly revived her relationship with e x Matthew Williams – who she dated before she became famous – earlier thi s year (10).
She was spotted cradling his 10-month-old son, named Cairo, on a recent trip, which is said to have infuriated his ex Erin Hirsch – who he alleg edly dumped for Gaga.
