Both Lady GaGa and Beyoncé tie with Mariah Carey for the Most #1s on The Billboard Pop Songs chart as “Telephone” rises #2-#1 on the chart.

“Telephone” becomes Lady GaGa 6th consecutive #1 song on the Pop airplay chart and also Beyoncé’s 6th single to top the chart, tying both with Mariah Carey who previously hold, alone, the record for most #1s on the 17-year-old chart.

Right behind the trio, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Pink and Avril Lavigne come in each with 5 #1s on the chart.

Due to the highly successful 1st leg of “The Monster Ball Tour” in North America with 98% of the tickets sold-out, Lady GaGa returns for another 27-dates run, now, bigger, for better. The singer brings her theater show to the arenas, and it’s totally revamped. The second North American run will kick off on June 28 and will go through September 19. Currently, GaGa is performing the Australian leg of the tour and after she will make her way to Japan and then she will visit European countries she didn’t perform on the first euro leg of the “Monster Ball”. Two new promotional stills from “Telephone” music video were published today by Lady GaGa’s UK official website. The music video is set to premiere on E! at 11:30 PST on Thursday (March 11) and is set to be available online at GaGa’s official VeVo/YouTuBe account and on her official website at midnight PST.
