Lady GaGa apologized today via Twitter (@ladygaga) for some venue changes that were made for The Monster Ball Tour concerts in Chicago and Detroit. For those who did not know, the Chicago shows (on Jan. 8, 9 and 10) originally to be held at The Chicago Theatre were moved to The Rosemont Theatre and the Detroit shows (on Jan. 12 and 13) that were originally supposed to be staged at The Fox Theatre were moved to The Joe Louis Arena, although the dates were maintained, the tickets bought to the previous shows were not honored and fans who had bought tickets for the previous concert had to buy new ones. GaGa released a Twitter statement over that:
To my little monsters, I am so sick over the 2 venues that were moved for Monsterball, and am sincerely sorry to all my fans who lost seats. A serious error was made by my production staff, and it is so unfair to you, who are so loyal. My show was not designed to fit in this venue. The monster ball was moved so we could still perform, not to sell more tickets. I promise to make it up to you, you are everything to mexgaga
